Hup Seng Industries Berhad was founded in 1958; Hup Seng was listed as a public limited company on 4th October 1991. On 23rd April the company received its certificate of commencement. Hup Seng’s vision and mission are to be able to produce quality fast moving consumer products and to be market leaders in fast moving consumer products. Few branches have been set up around Malaysia, such as Kelantan, Kuala Lumpur, Kuantan, Butterworth, Kedah and Ipoh. It has around approximately 10 sales divisions to provide service for over more than 10,000 consumers in Malaysia. Therefore, Hup Seng shall continue to upgrade, improve and reach new achievement of excellence. The company mainly manufactures and distributes biscuits, coffee mix and other related food products in Malaysia such as cream crackers, cookies, Marie biscuits, sandwich, and assorted biscuits under the brand name Kerk, Ping Pong, Wang wang In-Comix and Ong San Yong .The company’s product are exported and markets to other countries such as the United States, Russia, Africa and Asian countries. The production plant of the company is located at Batu Pahat, Johor. The company is publicly traded on the Bursa Malaysia with the symbol HUPSENG. The stock code for the company in the Bursa Malaysia is 5024. The company has issued more than 100,000,000 ordinary shares at RM1 per share. The 43,951,000 shares were issued and fully paid by the shareholders. Hup Seng Industries Berhad has three subsidiaries which named Hup Seng Hoon Yong Brothers Sdn. Bhd, Hup Seng Perusahaan Makanan (M) Sdn. Bhd. and In-Comix Industries Sdn. Bhd.. Hup Seng Hoon Yong Brothers Sdn.
