Howl O Scream Experience

My performance at Howl O’ Scream was pretty good. I arrived two hours early to help with the setup, put up decorations for the creepy trail, and helped with registrations until it was time for me to go down to my station. We had to wait 15-20 minutes until the maintenance man came to hook up the pipe to the propane tank and the grill. As we waited people came up and was asking how much longer until it would be ready. I told them we were out of order for about 10 minutes and we will be up and running as soon as possible. After everything got hooked up, the fire was up and burning, we were ready to go. People started lining up and was ready to start roasting marshmallows.
We all worked collectively as a group. I started calling people over and seeing if they wanted to roast some marshmallows. Allison, was in charge of putting the marshmallows on the roasting sticks. Ashlei, was in charge of telling

We had to talk to people and engaged in a little conversation. I was handing out roasting sticks left and right while engaging in conversation with a mom and her two kids. She wanted to know if we were high schoolers I had to tell her we were in college and that we go to Coastal Carolina. My energy was very friendly and positive and people that roasted once came back again just because they felt comfortable. For example, it was a little girl dressed like a vampire and she kept coming back. I told the little kids that were roasting how to rotate the marshmallow so it won’t burn too bad. Whenever one of my group members ran out of roasting sticks I signed them and gave them some. When we ran out of sticks we had to tell people we have no more sticks, but we could give them marshmallows. Some people started going into the trash to get sticks and broke them in half so they could roast

The Waterhouse Center was an incredible experience and an appropriate use of class time. The activities served as an informal way to get to know our peers, as well as an opportunity to analyze our own behavior. As a member of group “A” led by Bernie, we successfully accomplished a majority of the different events on his property. I will explain how we experienced success and trouble as a group, as well as how I handled my Myer’s Brigg’s typology and Big 5 personality types in relation to other individuals.…

The biggest problems in America that I’ll briefly go over are drug addiction, depression, and education. Education is the stronghold to solving predicaments within a community as well as worldwide. As different as every person can be we are still one thing, a human. A special thing about us is that we can share a bond, an emotion, and I believe we’ve become cultural psychopaths who don’t empathize with people who are different from us. Disclaimer:…

In the book club, students are divided into groups where each group is responsible to read, discuss, and present one story or novel of their choice. For my group, we read the novel title “Chasing the Scream” by Johann Hari. My impression on the story was fascinating because it change my perspective of how I see drug addiction, which is the unresolved issue in the United States today. Before I read this novel, how I see individuals who become addicted to drugs were negative because I thought that these individuals are the one to blame for it causes violence in a society.…
