First, he reported that he has been having obsessive thoughts that would impair him until he had completed the task correctly, which may last for a few minutes to a few hours or even all day. The obsessive thoughts began around his mid 20’s, a few short years after both his parents passed away and him taking over his father’s company as well as producing his first motion picture. Howard also claimed as a child his mother implanted a fear of germs, when he would wash his hands he would only be able to use his personal soap and while washing his hands he would have to spell out Q-U-A-R-A-N-T-I-N-E in order to be clean. He also had obsessive thoughts of being the best, he would want to produce the best films and create largest and unsurpassed aircrafts. He would not be satisfied until it was perfect in his eyes. The thoughts would run in his head for most of the day, everyday. He also had enslaving thoughts of making money, these thoughts were assumed to have started when he was just a child. The patient said he always had thoughts of ways to become the riches man. While running his fathers company, he would also invest in many different projects. He would invest millions of his money as well as take out huge loans to satisfy his enslaving
