Howard University Application Essay

When I was younger and as I gradually grown up I had no recollection of a historically black college and university, partially due to that fact that college was not a big topic in my family. Once I entered into a high school, I became more familiar with HBCU, one in particularly Howard University. Howard University has always been my top school since I attended the college fair at my high school. From the moment I was presented with the opportunity to speak to one of the represents, where I just fall in love immediately. What really caught my attention was that business school at Howard University it is notorious for producing and modeling the best of the best. For example, Cathy Hughes, who is founder and executive of both TV One and Radio one. I have come to the understanding the Howard University is that place. When I looked at Howard University in more depth I realized that I had found a school that can amplify and improve my ambitious nature. I see a school with consisting preparation, application, and challenge, all qualified that I am looking for in a school. Howard can offer the necessary preparation to achieve, by preparing me in ways that I would I have thought to be nearly impossible. A college in which reinforces the necessity of constantly applying myself to any situation, by improves my capacity to learn and devise new strategies that allow me to reflect on new divergent ways of thinking. Finally, Howard University can challenge me, presenting me with a challenge that may appear to be unachievable, but I view as achievable.
