Do you have someone that you look up to or envy? Well, that’s my definition of a hero. I think a hero is someone in particular that you admire. Some sort of role model for you. Someone that has been through, or someone going through, a rough time. I believe that a hero is someone that gives you inspiration. For example, my hero is Howard (Howie) Mandel.
Mandel suffers from mysophobia, a pathological fear of contamination/germs. Mandel has to deal with this on a day to day basis. Can you even imagine what it’s like to have a fear of germs.Mandel has stated in an interview that he had even dealt with this as a child, and others would make fun of him.
