Did you there are 29,440 megawatts of wind energy that are installed in the United States and about 6,000 megawatts are being built are now. The United states has the most wind energy in the world and are approximately 2,000 megawatts ahead of China. Not only does the United States have the most wind energy in the world, they also create the most new jobs which was around 35,000 of them. There are a lot of good things that can come from using wind energy. Also you might wonder why we use wind energy instead of any other energy and what the wind energy is used. With saying this I am going to now talk about some of the facts a talked about in the this paragraph and go into a deeper meaning of how we use wind energy and how it benefits us.

Many people choose to use wind over solar and water or many reasons. But most just use it because they simply just an to. There are several ways that we use energy in the world but are they really the best way to use energy. In the early centuries they mainly used burning coal as a huge resource to get energy. To get the coal that they used involved strip mining, pit mining, and mountaintop removal. All of these methods affected the earth such as the ground, water and air. Even the health of the workers and nearby residents were being affected by this. Burning all of this coal put a lot of pollution in the air, which made scientist want to find a better way to resolved this earthly problem. Thus they invent the wind turbine. These new turbines are eco friendly and safe to use in the environment. This is why the we use wind energy to power things.
Some benefits of wind energy is that wind energy is very clean. These turbines does not use water or pumps which would save billions of dollars every year. A single turbine can power a house and or a town. Another benefit is that is does not pollute any type of drinking water or air. But there are also some down sides of building turbines. Animals can lose their habitat and some of them may die from making impact with the blades. Another con that a forest may have to be cut down to make room. But in conclusion wind energy can be very helpful and save us billions of dollars at the
