When getting a bad grade on a test, Matt examines his mistakes and where they were located. He then takes the needed steps to study more intensely in those troublesome areas. Matt states “Take that night to go and sit in the library, go sit under that tree on a nice day and read ahead for a class. This advice from Matt is to help you learn to prepare for class even if it is a couple of days in advance. The message he is portraying is to always prepare yourself. College can cause many problems for freshman, but all it takes is some devotion to advancing your knowledge.
