His plan is to not confuse the information from two classes or to forget information (Matt G. 's Academic Success Story). When getting a bad grade on a test, Matt examines his mistakes and where they were located. He then takes the needed steps to study more intensely in those troublesome areas. Matt puts school first (Matt G. 's Academic Success Story). If he had a test or project that needed to be done, he would work on them instead of partying. Matt states “Take that night to go and sit in the library, go sit under that tree on a nice day and read ahead for a class. There are ways to study that make it enjoyable... and this is what will get you by” (Matt G. 's Academic Success Story). This advice from Matt is to help you learn to prepare for class even if it is a couple of days in advance. The message he is portraying is to always prepare yourself. Every individual is different and there will be variations in study technique, but one of the most vital ways a student can be successful is to put in the time. Time ties into many successful practices such as putting in the time to study, not procrastinating, and allotting certain time every day to dedicate to school work.
