How Was Pancho Villa's Assassination Justified

Decent Essays
Ever heard of the Mexican Robin Hood? And if his assassination was unjustified or justified? Well the assassination of Pancho Villa was justified because Obregon (Alvaro Obregon was a general) and Villa both made an agreement but Villa then broke the agreement. The agreement was that Villa would not join the Mexican politics. Villa joined either way because Mexico at the time was in need of a new president. With Villa joining the Mexican politics, he became to be a threat towards Obregon.

Not only, but also Obregon knew that Villa had a lot of supporters on his side and is why he told him to not get involved in the election, because he knew a lot of people would have followed him and vote for him. Pancho did not listen to Obregon because he knew that he couldn’t be trusted. With the result of that he got involved. That is what got Obregon mad and was probably the reason why he ordered the assassination.

In other hands, He thought a lot of people would care more about what Pancho said, because he had been a general of the revolution and he cared about his people and knew what was best for the people of Mexico. He was a hero to a lot of people, but was also a rebel to others. To Obregon, he was just a threat to him since a lot of people were on Villa’s side. He shouldn’t had never joined the politics. But he joined because he wanted the best for his people.

On the contrary these, are my reasons on why I thought his assassination was justified. He was threat to Obregon. Villa was also a general and a hero in the Revolution. He joined the politics because he wanted his people to be in good hands. Villa knew he couldn’t trust Obregon. Villa went through a lot growing up. He would steal from the rich to give to the poor, but he would also steal from the

Francisco Madero’s rise: As time was going on, Porfirio Diaz still was in presidency, and people were not comfortable of the constants reelections of the same president. One day, Porfirio called for an interview to James Creelman, in which he said that the democracy in Mexico was not affected by his long term stance in the power, and that he was not consumed by power. He stated that the democracy was the only fair principle in the government, which contradicted his actions because he reelected himself for over 30 years. Another fact he said was that he was able to leave the presidency with no remorse aside from his long standing government. Likewise, the fact of saying that most leaders that are in power for a long time start to feel that…

Some of those being his father Ay, and his protector and the egyptian army general, Horemheb. The reason that I think King Tutankhamun died by assassination is because usually if someone does not like a leader or how the leader does things they either try to assassinate them or try to make them not leader any more.
