Alexander the Great expanded his empire and spread Greek culture throughout the realm. His empire was successful due to his strength, brilliance, and persistence. He unleashed changes that would ripple across the Mediterranean world and Middle East for centuries. His most lasting achievement was the spread of Greek culture.
