Before my senior year, I was driven to help my team throughout any circumstance, and to overcome any single obstacle thrown our way. I used to always believe I was helping my team by never missing a practice or a team building event, and always giving a hundred percent every time I stepped on the court. I never felt like I had to be at practices, workouts or the bonding exercises, I was there because I was passionate about volleyball and wanted all of us to grow together as a team. I was there pushing every girl to their max, to be the best possible player they could be. I felt like I was an important member of the Lady Cat Volleyball team, not just your average player that was there because she had nothing better to do. Volleyball was a big part of my life; the sport changed me to be the best person I could be. I always thought I would play volleyball all through ought my high school career, but that all changed my senior year.

I was furious after hearing about this! My parents then took it to the Universal Interscholastic League (UIL.) This organization creates rules for almost all athletic programs in the state of Texas. But unfortunately, this was out of their hands, therefore they could not do anything about my problem. It was completely up to the athletic director call, but we already knew we were going to have no luck whatsoever with Coach
