Donald Trump is one of the main candidates of the 2016 presidential campaign. Although he is one of the more popular candidates, he is not a highly respected candidate and he should be. Donald Trump is an established businessman, he is self-funded, and he has the right mindset to get America’s economy back on track after its downward spiral over the last few years. I believe that his strong, “take charge” attitude is very important and needed in America because we have a lack of a strict leader right now. Donald Trump’s conservative values are something I look up to because they stay true to the meaning of a conservative. The reason I think that a businessman like Donald Trump should be trusted to be President of the United States is because I know personally how tough the business world can be. I know this from experience because my dad had taken me on many business trips with him over the past summer to expose me to the real business world. This is a very important aspect of his presidential campaign. Most candidates cannot self fund themselves and need help from investors. The problem with taking money from investors is that the candidate needs to give the investors what they want. The investors have the power to take away a lot of freedoms from the candidate. The candidate is no longer able to stick to exactly what he or she supports and may have to sacrifice a stance on an issue to comply with the investors’
