IPE Reflection During the interprofessional activity, I worked with two second-semester nursing students to increase the medication adherence of an elderly woman with a visual impairment. My role as a pharmacist in the scenario was to be the expert on medications. I was expected to have knowledge about the medications that the patient was taking, including the pronunciation of the drug name and the administration technique and appearance of the drug formulation. The nursing students brought their own expertise to the activity as well. They were the experts in building patient trust, focusing on the whole patient, and analyzing the sum of the patient’s problems. Our team worked well together, and everyone had a chance to express their concerns
