Argument Summative: Vaping Smoking an e-cigarette can be just as harmful as tobacco smoking. Studies say that, contrary to other beliefs, vaping can cause various diseases that have a devastating impact on your health. This is shown when,” Scientists have warned that vaping devices - considered by many to be a healthier alternative to tobacco - could damage your DNA and increase the risk of heart disease and cancer”(Picknell, 1). This shows that vaping has effects in different parts of your body, other than just your lungs, and can hurt you alot more. By hurting your DNA, this means that it might affect your children and descendants of that person. Another example of this is shown when, “In the tests, mice breathing the e-cigarette vapour showed greater damage to their DNA in the heart, lungs and bladder, as well as being more likely to develop tumours compared to the control group of mice breathing …show more content…
In this statement, it is shown that the conditions of the air in mice are fatal to them, and if it is so horrible for a mouse, it could not be good for humans over time. Also, this might hurt the people and animals you are around when smoking, because they are breathing in the polluted air.
