On 07/17/16 at 4:27pm, I was dispatched to the intersection of S Gleenwood and Bellows Ave on a dog being held by minors. I arrived in the area and spoke to complainant, who stated the dog was running loose in the area. The complainant pointed me in the general area she believed the dog came from. I place the dog in my van. I drove around the 400 block of Nace Ave; I was stopped by a passerby asking if I found a dog. The passerby described the dog I had in my van. I followed the passerby to the dog owner house at 408 Nace Ave. I spoke to dog owner Linda Mayle who claimed ownership of the dog. Ms. Mayle was unable to show me proof of a dog license or vaccinations on the dog. I issued Ms. Mayle violations for failure to license and failure
