Have you ever been in a situation where everybody depends on you to save the world? “Ender’s Game”, written by Orson Scott Card, is a science fiction novel that has won many awards because of its great plot going from battle schools, to armies, and extraterrestrial battles that everyone admires. Ender Wiggin, a six year old boy, is sent to battle school in order to become a great commander and help save the world by defeating the alien species they call The Buggers. While Ender Wiggins is in battle school he excels in all the skills required and beats advanced mind games that no one is able to win. Ender was the youngest to be isolated to an army who eventually overtime is assigned commander and earns himself an incipient army. Further, Ender moved to command school where he takes his final exam by fighting in a simulated war with buggers not knowing that it was a real war and eradicates all the buggers and wins the fight. Ender is forced to be an independent student, he learns how to deal with fights, and lastly he knows that there are people who still stand by his side and care for him. All of these things have made Ender to who he is in the end. If Ender didn’t have compassion in himself he would have end up as killing machine or an arrogant power hungry person like his brother. Ender is able to understand what the people he faces think like which is why he doesn’t kill without reason and finds alternate solutions rather than causing deaths and harming someone. However, Ender strives to continue battle school because he fears he is like his brother when he harms someone but Ender manages to figure out what makes him so different from his brother.
