I was never completely comfortable on a rollercoaster, and still to this day, I am a little bit tense whenever I go on one. The experience I had will definitely be one I will for sure never forget. It all started on one of those days that seemed like nothing could go wrong. But all too soon, it would change, and definitely in a way I thought that I would never experience.
My mom and I, along with my friends Jaxson and Kennedy, were at Michigan Adventures for a summer break vacation. We had just got done deciding which ride we wanted to go on. We all decided to go on the ride called Shivering Timbers, and if you know anything about Michigan adventures, it is one of the biggest rides there. I had never been on a big roller coaster, only the little ones at the town fair.
My mom and I entered the ride choosing to sit in the very middle. Jaxson and Kennedy on the other hand, sat more towards the front of the ride. I chose to sit in the middle because usually it is the least scary. I buckled my seatbelt, and my mom did too. Then I pulled down the safety bar, making sure it was latched all the way. Then, we were ready. I knew nothing would go wrong, I knew I would be ok, I knew I was going to love roller coasters. Well, that wasn’t exactly how it went. In fact, that isn’t

About halfway up the hill, I noticed something was wrong. I felt free. Nothing was holding me in except the safety bar. My seatbelt, miraculously, had come unattached. I panicked and told my mom. I was absolutely freaking out and was more scared than I ever had been before. She grabbed me, holding on like a pair of vice grips, and at that moment we were only at the top of the hill. I looked down and was absolutely terrified! I knew I was over. Then, the ride plummeted down the first hill, and I couldn’t believe that I was still on the ride. So many thoughts were racing through my

A few years ago, on a class trip, my friends had asked me to ride at least one roller coaster. It was not a large roller coaster, but it made me queasy just looking at it. I was confident that I would be able to go on and enjoy the experience. My confidence quickly evaporated when we began climbing up the roller coaster’s first hill. The ride dropped, and I was screaming so loudly that I could only hear myself.…

Well I had gone to Six Flags and when I had got there I was so anxious to get on every ride in Six Flags but then I had heard a person on the Goliath scream ”stop the ride” it was so funny and scary at the same time. Then I saw that almost every ride had so many twists and turns and even circles that go round and round. Last year I had gone on a roller coaster which was the Mind Bender and it wasn’t so scary. The Mind Bender had so many circles that go round and round.…

There was a rush through my body thinking, Wow, that was fun!! We have gone on a lot more rides, by the end of the day. My favorite ride was that there was three different slides that are pitch dark and you get one soft mate and you go up a small set of wooden stairs then you race down the slide and the reason I loved it was because it takes about four seconds to get to the bottom of the slide but it feels like it takes a minute. A lot of the rides were fun some scary, and some adrenaline pumping. Ashley was tired and we had went on the rides we wanted to go on, so we had paid to get are belongings.…

I got anxious as I reached the top, until the worked yelled “pull the cord.” Those three words is all it took to relieve me of everything, all the stress, anxiety and anything else that had bothered me just seemed to go away as I was flying through the sky. Once the ride was over I looked was so glad that I hadn’t chickened out. It was such a great experience that was so much more than just riding a dumb ride at Six Flags. It showed me that whatever goal I set for myself in life, big or small, I would accomplish it.…

So this meant that my brother and sister got to sit in the very front of the roller coaster car, and my dad and I were right behind them. When we got in, it seemed like no time had passed from when we got in the line, to when we were seated in the ride getting ready for a moment that I would never forget. We waited for about 30 seconds for the workers to make sure everybody was strapped in safely. When the carts then started down this tiny slope to a straight away over the water. I was a mix of scared and excited for the ride.…

One ride I really liked was this enormous waterslide. I was really scared of this ride at first but going down was wonderful ultimately. Me and my Brother went on all of the rides and rollercoasters, but I am not a huge fan of rollercoasters like my brother is, but he convinced me to go on the roller coasters. The first roller coaster we went to had a lot of twist and turns and i was extremely scared, and I felt like the rollercoaster was going to fall of the track…

As I was brushing my teeth, I remembered what my cousin Sam had said to me the day before. "I, Sam Duncan," he declared, "am getting you on a roller coaster if it's the last thing I ever do. " I had laughed and said he was crazy. I was terrified of heights (I had fairly major acrophobia).…

When I was about nine years old, my family was debating about going to Cedar Point the upcoming weekend. I hadn't rode many roller coasters in my life at that time because I was only nine. Of course, trying to be manly, I totally agreed with their decision. My parents told me how big the roller coasters are, and how the roller coasters are some of the biggest in the world. I acted like I wasn't scared, and was talking about how I didn't care about the size of the roller coasters.…

Then the third gate was the worst, who could hear people screaming their heads off, and feel the ground shake like there was an earthquake, and it was our turn next!!! I was TERRIFIED, Claire had fingernail marks in her arm, and as our cart emptied of the people before us, I got light headed, I vaguely remember getting in and buckled. I started to take deep breaths I was starting to feel better when I felt how secure the harnesses were. But then we started to move, at first it was okay, slow and easy going around the first corner, but then I saw the unbelievable hill that was 170 ft tall, this ride brakes 7 different records in the world and one is it’s got the longest drop for a wing coaster!!! Slowly climbing to the top, felt longer than the car ride!…
