How To Write An Essay About Human Experience

Have you ever considered that every single person in the entire world sees things differently than you do? Have you ever considered that some people are experiencing things that you have never dreamed of experiencing, while someone has almost the exact same experiences as you? The human experience is so vast, which inspired me to analyze some of my individual experiences from Mrs. Birchell’s class. Upon analyzing my experiences, I found that in Mrs. Birchell’s third hour I experienced many things that were beneficial to me, including the collective human experience, achieving a growth mindset, and a collective experience binding people together.
The first beneficial experience that I gained from my honors english class was seeing myself fall into a growth mindset. I can’t begin to describe how many nights I spent on my living room floor, utterly frustrated and at a loss for what to do. There were many nights where I wanted to give up. I just couldn’t do this assignment. I would never be able to give Mrs. Birchell exactly what she wanted, and so it was better just to never do it than to do it and fail …show more content…
I know that it seems like such a small experience, but it really opened up my eyes. I had never analyzed a book the way our class analyzed The Secret Life of Bees, and it really opened my eyes to how little I had experienced. Seeing the hardships that the people in The Secret Life of Bees went through made me realize that there are people that actually experience things like that, and I have no idea what that’s like. For example, in the book, May commits suicide and I realized that there are actual people out there dealing with someone close to them committing suicide, but yet, I had no idea what that was like. This experience was really helpful to me, because it made me more considerate of what others are going through, and helped me gain a positive attitude and get along with people
