As a kid, Henry had a few big moments in his childhood that changed the course of his life. One life changing moment was when Henry was 13. He was going down the road on his family’s horse and buggy when a steam powered car came rumbling towards them. As soon as the car pulled over to let the Ford’s buggy pass Henry scrambled off and started asking the man questions. The man, obviously proud of his vehicle, answered young Henry's questions in detail. After seeing this car, Henry decided to make his own model, but it blew up, burning down a nearby fence. If you know even know a little bit about Henry Ford, you will know he did not like war he went as far as funding a peace ship to Europe. But when the country was in need he put away his thoughts and helped by producing over 200,000 military jeeps or planes. That’s enough to change the tide in a war. Henry also is still remembered for making a car that any working man can buy that car was the model T produced to public in 1908 ,with its starting price just 365 dollars he made this car so cheap by making his cars in an assembly this way of making a car took the production time from 728 minutes to 93 minutes .This method saved him from the great depression. This method was very affordable it works by a person doing the same thing repeatedly on each car. This method is still used today but, instead of people it is done by machines. Over the years Henry didn’t just build up the Ford company he collected mementoes from it, and after many years of collecting he made a good-sized museum out of it, it teaches how henry got to such high success and talks about henrys look at the world. In fact, a business college near there goes there on a field trip there to teach of his successes, and teaches all walks of life that “peace is always the answer not war” Henry Ford.
