The day of September 11th was a devastating day for The United States of America as the attacks killed 2,983 total people! Wow! Thats is a big attack! One thing I did not know is that there was something that happened in 1993 to lead up to 2001. The thing that happened was the attack on the World Trade Center that involved a bomb in the parking structure. I did not know that that happened and then I didn’t know that they said they would strike back and that this was the reason they attacked on September 11, 2011. Another thing I didn’t know is that there was a man named Ramzi Yousef that had a ton of plans to destroy America and he had the plan for 9-11. I thought that Osama bin Laden was behind all of it so it showed me that it wasn’t only him. Also I didn’t know that the people that hijacked the planes used knives to overpower them. I did not know they could even have knives so it was a huge thing to know that they used them to overpower the people and take over the planes with them. I actually did not know that there was four planes in the whole mission. I thought there was only three because I did not know …show more content…
The first reason that they are very similar is that I remember a lot of the chaos that was going on during the attacks. I remember during the videos of all of the people that were trying to get out and the people that were jumping out of windows. The second thing that was the same as my mom is how sad and how bad I felt for them. I still just can’t imagine what they were going through during this and it was just a very sad day. I did learn a lot from the videos and also from what my mom said and it all came together. That is how my views from after the videos of September 11, 2001, are similar to my mom's who was getting to see it live on TV. That is all about the attacks of 9-11 and my views on it. MAN WAS IT AN INCREDIBLE DAY FOR AMERICA!! I learned so much about it and now I’m just hungry to learn
