How To Write An Analytical Essay On Little Brother

In the novel Little Brother by Cory Doctorow, a bridge is bombed in San Francisco. Marcus is taken in for questioning because he is a suspect of the terrorism. Many steps were taken after this event to make sure the city is as safe as possible. The terrorist attack on September 11, 2001 was one of the worst terrorist attacks that have occurred in the United States. It is referred to as 9/11. Four airplanes were hijacked, two of them were taken into the Twin Towers in New York City, another one was flown into the Pentagon and the fourth plane crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. The security in the United States was increased to make sure people were being kept safe. The security in this novel after the bridge was bombed is similar and different to the security after 9/11.
In Little Brother, Marcus and his friends are caught in a terrible terrorist attack in San Francisco. Marcus and his friends play this game called Harajuku Fun Madness. They were on the hunt for the next clue when the Bay Bridge was bombed in San Francisco(Doctorow 63). They run around in confusion and go underground into the BART(65). Some similarities would include the fact that they were allowed to check the visa cards to see what people had done lately and see if it was suspicious activity.
