Hello! My name is Dhanesh and I am a grade 7 student at David Leeder Middle School which is located in Mississauga, Ontario. From when I was aware of this program, serving the legislative assembly as a Page became one of my desired goals. I always wanted to expand my knowledge about Canada's culture and its history. I am always trying to be a better citizen of this nation and am working diligently towards it. First of all, I love to try out new activities, clubs, and teams. One of them is Air Cadets (Royal Canadian Air Cadet). Well, the Air Cadets is a program (for youth between ages 12-18) where we are involved in serving the community. I am a friendly person. I love to collaborate with other teammates and would often take their opinion and see how it would work. I am also very honest. I always admit to my mistakes and not just cover it up with some leaves. I am also a great team-worker. Overall, I feel that these characteristics make me unique and an ideal page to serve the legislative assembly of

Sometimes I wonder why, out of every city, town, and suburb in the entire country of the United States, my grandmother chose to move to Lynn, Massachusetts. A city otherwise rich in history, but unluckily dubbed over by an ingloriously annoying jingle, “Lynn, Lynn, city of sin, you’ll never come out the way you came in.” I heard it chanted through elementary school hallways, mocked by middle school kids, and hummed by high schoolers. You would think its omnipresence would keep away travelers, but, then again, my grandmother didn’t speak English. She came over from the Dominican Republic thirty-six years ago, with my mother and her five other kids.…
