MY TRIBUTE TO AMERICA I believe in fireflies and stars lighting up the night sky, homemade cookies from grandma with love, that there’s kindness and love in the world, and that people care enough to help others in time of need. I borrowed a Bible from my church, faith of my fathers living and sitting on the night stand by my bed. America borrows from our past. Our heroes, Abraham Lincoln, and Martin Luther King Jr.. shaped the decency of our conscience. Signers of a declaration and builders of a democracy, tamers of the west, and explorers of the galaxy become the fruit of our spirit, and this is America’s soul.
