How To Write A Summary Of Chapter 2

In the beginning of chapter 2, we kinda get an explanation about what karma is and how it works using clay as an example. The characters in this chapter were : Justin, Megan, McManus, Mr. Snell, Josh Winston, David Pink, Magnus, Audrey, and Jinsen. Justin starts the chapter off by basically saying he likes art because it’s the only he can be creative and get a good grade. He also likes his art teacher Mr. Snell, but they usually call him Mr. Smell. That day, Mr. Snell assigned the class a new art project where you make Japanese scroll paintings. Two students in his class(McManus and Josh Winston) made these jokes about what if we copied down the wrong thing and wrote something bad. Justin didn’t like McManus because he is a kid who thinks he is good at a lot of things (which he is not). After school, Justin met Jinsen at his house to work on their project. He notice he had a very old and ragged down house compared to his own. As they were working on the project, Justin noticed that Jinsen is an amazing artist. Jinsen was always calm when he was drawing like a real artist. Justin is shocked because he was not in art, and tells him an artist like this should be in art or even the teacher because of how good it was. Justin let Jinsen finish the drawings on the poster which he did quickly and calmly, while he types the papers for the project at home. As he left Jinsen’s house, he noticed …show more content…
I personally think Jinsen is my favorite character right now because he doesn’t care how other people think of him and loves his life either way. I predict that Jinsen and Justin will hang out again and later become friends. I also think that Justin will be bullied for hanging out with Jinsen. I am hoping Justin will ignore the rumors going around the school and just try to be himself more. I really like the writing style of this book and how it sounds like this stuff might actually be going through a teenager’s
