So now, Thomas, I am writing back to your letter I received on the day I graduated High School. Unfortunately, the letter was a year too late. In the following six months after I told you goodbye in January, I found happiness in myself and met someone new. I appreciate your letter explaining your actions over the past year and how sorry you are, and I accept your apology. I appreciate you telling me now that you loved me then and still do now, but I’m afraid I no longer love you, and telling me you love me in a letter wont change my mind.…

I will try to keep this brief so as not to waste too much of your valuable time that could be spent doing something much more important. As you know, earlier in the year I was suspended for striking another student. Then more recently got into an engagement with a 7th grader, who shall remain unnamed to protect her privacy, that caused a disruption at the wrestling banquet. I cannot express how sorry I am for doing such and I wish I could go back and calm myself down. I do have a certain complaint concerning this incident, but that's not the reasoning behind this letter.…

Professor McConnell then shared a few of his most positive accepts of his teaching career. “The most positive would have to be my ability to connect with my students on an educational and a personal level has been the best part of teaching. Recently my father passed away, which lead me to struggle a bit to come to grips with that, but nothing helped me more than going back to work and being surrounded by my students, whom I love dearly. I have also recently begun sponsoring and LGBTQ+ club that has allowed me to help give a voice to students who at times feel that they are silenced and persecuted for the way that they live their lives. Having the opportunity to touch the hearts of those who are eager to learn is beyond rewarding.”…

Educational Hiccup I began attending Texas State University in the fall of 2011. Enamored with the freedom and excitement of being on my own in a new town, I wholeheartedly embraced the college party lifestyle I had seen perpetuated in pop culture. Little did I realize that there is a purpose to college beyond reckless celebration, and my grades began to decline. In May of 2012, I was informed that I was on academic suspension and could not attend Texas State for the following fall semester. Needless to say, my parents were furious.…

Whenever you receive my final transcript from the University of Alabama, you will notice I received a grade of a “D” in one of my final courses. This is the first and only class in my life I have ever received a grade lower than a C- in. I have a genuine explanation of why I have done so poorly in this class for the semester. I had an emergency surgery in November and was in an excessive amount of pain that lasted until December, which caused me to miss a lot of days this semester. My professors worked with me to help makeup a few things that I missed, but I found myself unable to focus and do my best with all that I was going through at the time.…
