How To Write A Short Story: Middle School

In middle school a young boy named John had some shy problems and he was afraid to talk to people and make new friends because he was afraid to make a fool of himself. He will have a small conversation with someone but after about one minute he'd dart out fast. He would try to talk to some people but they would have nothing in common with them and he'd get shy and walk away feeling like a fool. There was this one kid in his math class who he thought they had a lot in common and one day they got paired up as partners and John started a conversation.

"Hey... Alex, what is up?" John said nervously.

"Alex replied, "Nothing much, just doing some math," as he chuckled.

"What kind of things do you like? Like in school?" He said still nervous.

"Uh, I like math and PE. I like doing sports in PE and solve math equations,"
Alex Said smiling.

"Oh, I like math, but I also like English over PE. Haha," John said. After having the conversation John felt he could talk to people without a fear of shyness and felt he could talk and make new friends.

The next day John felt he could talk to people and not get shy, but John was very wrong. When he'd talk to someone He'd get very nervous when he talks to people and he gets really scared thoughts go through his like,

He'd talk to new kids, teachers, and pretty much everyone. He was proud of himself for conquering his fear and he talked to everyone. He never got made fun of for being shy and he is not scared to show who he is. He has straight A's and he is a honor student, and he loves to play sports. At the beginning of John's year of school he was shy, but now he has conquered that fear and now he is the most talkative person. His favorite thing to do is talk and his favorite subject in school is math. He loves school and likes to make new friends every
