The next day, police calls an ambulance to pick up his dead body, before Lukas gets a chance to find out what happened. Most importantly, before Lukas gets a chance to put a name to this body. However, Lukas does see stains of blood on Petro’s blankets; he also sees a hat and an open notebook with a pencil close by. He stares on the empty pavement with its odd remains of a life that has seized to exist. He knew Petros was sick and he shouldn’t have left him. He looks at the euro in his hand that he was going to give him. No, Petro didn’t need that euro, instead, he needed a friend, someone who cared to relieve his pain. Lukas picks up the notebook, it’s the voice of the homeless. At least now he knows, he knows what to do next time he sees
