During this experiment, the experimenter begins by weighing a plastic cup then places five larvae into the plastic cup and weighs the mass again. After doing so, the five larvae were then placed into a test tube and put into a Styrofoam cooler of crushed ice to cool for five minutes. Once they were cooled they were placed into the water bath that was 10ºC and an oxygen sensor was tightly placed inside the opening of the tube. As the tube equilibrated for five minutes, the experimenters observed how active the larvae were. Then after the first five minutes, data was recorded for an additional five minutes. The experiment was repeated three more times with the water being at a temperature of 30ºC, 40ºC and 45ºC. The results showed that as the

These influences may have changed which chamber the pill bugs chose or changed the temperature of the chambers themselves. As well, I do not think this test is 100% accurate because, it is possible that the pill bugs simply react more actively when placed in a warmer environment rather than a cold one, not necessarily because the pill bugs prefer that temperature.
