2. There are a few areas of improvement that Jackson should work on (as do I). First, I think his camera holder should have been closer to him; it was difficult to make out his facial expressions. Which, in turn, may improve his eye contact with the camera. In addition to the camera, it is required that we pan the audience twice, at the beginning and at the end. I grade Jackson's speech a 9, only for these reasons. His camera was too far away for me to make out his facial expressions; although, I could hear him very well. He did not use any vocal fillers and kept his speech moving along smoothly. He had plenty of audience members, I wish he had the person holding the camera pan the audience after his speech though. He did not use any visual aids or cite his sources; but I can understand how hard this is to do when you are nervous. Jackson carried his speech well and blew me away with how calm he appeared to be. His speech was within our time limit yet was extremely informative. I can say his speech will stick with me for a while and made me think of how many struggles refugees go through on their journey to America, freedom, and
