1. Discussion of your personal reactions and experiences (thoughts, feelings, behaviors) during the session. In my perception, today’s session went very well because the discussion seemed more friendly and intellectual rather than deep and overly emotional. I understand the need for emotional searching, expression, and development for the purpose of growth and comprehension. However, it was a nice change of pace to not feel obligated to emote. I believe that therapy that is consistently unpleasant or evokes to much before one is ready could be counterproductive. There was nothing today that I wished that I had done differently. I felt genuine today and in the here and now.
* How did you work on your personal growth in group today? By not fighting feedback or the process, I was able to find a new willingness to listen to observations and act on what was suggested to me.

2. Group process observations: Today the group process was relatively smooth. For the most part we only dealt with surface emotions and intellectualized what it means to feel safe through an exercise. The group continues to support one another with empathy and compassion. Each member seems to becoming more genuine through the process, in other words, we all are letting are masks slip.
*Participation: All members participated equally today, even though we do have one member who is usually quiet and another that likes to tell a lot of content stories.
* Norms: I had originally perceived an implicit norm that we most have strong affects in this group. This norm has been placed to the side during this group meeting. I do believe the group is trying to make everyone feel accepted in this process and help to move each one forward as each member is ready. Our original explicit norms have stayed
