This year I learned I am the result of generations trapped in unfortunate situations that nevertheless resulted in my parents’ successful immigration to America. Living in NYC, a true polyglot society, it is easy to forget we have not always enjoyed a democratic society’s possibilities. In fact, we are surprised the USSR’s countless famines, genocides, wars, and simple violence had not killed our families decades ago. Education saved them.
They realized intellectual excellence brought respect and recognition from a society that wanted them gone. The USSR granted my grandparents, professors, its highest honors for their Russian Literature, Mathematics, and European History studies. Grandfather became a prestigious Odessa institution’s dean.

At Babson I can make myself happy by concentrating on fulfilling my dreams by learning how to earn money with money to amass the funds needed to continuously invest in ideas that can have a dominoes effect of positive changes when supplemented with constant capable mentoring. Implementing an effective new means of micro to modest to major investing holds infinite possibilities to improve lives globally.
Attending the Babson Entrepreneurial Experience was the best four weeks of my life; I formulated some of my best friendships while gaining the knowledge and expertise to make a difference in my community upon my return. I have been organizing Babson’s NYC-based summer class of 2016 dinners for many months now, and the thought-provoking, intellectual discussions we have motivate me to be more curious, read more, and think of ways to make the world a place. Leaving Babson was like leaving home. Now I want to come
