How To Write A Reflective Essay On Group Test

The group test that was given to us was very unique and fun. This was my first time doing a group test. That was a good experienced that I enjoyed a lot. My group was great, we didn't finished, but we did most of the questions. This was a good experienced because every single person in the group contributed. For example, if someone didn't knew the answer, the other person would try to help or answer then question, that was very kind. Two brains work better than one and that's what we did best. It's always good to have a second opinion. If someone doesn't know the answer, but the other one does, it's always great to know why someone is choosing that answer. The person who disagreed with someone in the group had to explain why are they disagreeing. …show more content…
He would tell me that some people mite be going thru hard moments and by being nice to someone can make their day and change their behavior to a positive one. Another concept that I experienced during this test was social categorization. Once I saw who my group was, I unconsciously started to make connection based on the characteristics that they had. I started to assume that the person who seemed like she didn't care about anything and look like she had just woken up was lazy. I was totally wrong because she was the only girl who gave very clear explanations about the answers that she knew. The other girl who was sitting right next to me was a very attractive girl, I instantly thought that she was the typical white girl who had an iPhone with uggs and a Starbucks on his hand. I assumed that she was rich, I don't know if she was or not, but based on my previous experiences with girls like that I assumed she was one. The next girl that was in my group was very friendly, I immediately thought that she was Mexican not because she was friendly, but she had most of the characteristics of a Mexican. I'm not racist, but I instantly make connections I usually keep them to myself. It turns out that she wasn't Mexican she was from some part

I did not understand that it was just a test to make me stronger than I already am. I would recommend this book to people who are trying to figure out who they are and understand the mistakes they have made. This is an interesting book analyzing the causes of unethical behavior but it makes readers question his or her values. It made me realize I am not perfect and everyone makes dumb decisions sometimes. Lastly, I enjoyed this book and I believe others will as…

I feel as if the group project could have been done a lot better I felt as there was more of a focus on getting to know one another rather than focusing on the assessment. Currently I am not as confident on working with individuals that I don’t know so well as I was when we first started as I realized not everyone in the group had the same approach towards the task as I did especially in terms of prioritization despite this I believe I am more confident in showing leadership as Staci and Emily had other commitments I attempted to accommodate for this by contacting them and working out times when they were both free I believe this was a positive thing as normally in group assessments I have a tendency to rely on other people to make decisions like this and it was a positive experience delegating rather than receiving tasks. Overall working with Staci and Emily was fine as I have a more passive personality in group assignments it was a good learning experience for me a study has also shown that working as group positively influences and facilitates an exchange of knowledge(Shaw, Mitchell and Del Fabbro, 2015) this definitely occurred during our group work when it came to elaborating on social determinants I was able to help both Staci and Emily better understand them while Staci assisted me in learning about the stream factors overall I believe we compensated very well for each other’s gaps of knowledge . On the other side of the spectrum our fourth member Louis was difficult to work with as he contacted us the weekend before the assignment was actually ready to present and this caused a lot of stress and panic, after talking to Emily and Staci they definitely felt the same way about the situation with…

Learning to write When I attended elementary school, part of the curriculum was penmanship. There was a certain segment of instruction dedicated to penmanship rather than writing. We were given large sheets of oat colored paper with three parallel lines widely spaced. The alphabets were used to print and write in cursive using the midpoint, and upper lines for capital letters. The handwriting grades were based on neatness and readability.…

During and after the group project I got a better understanding of NAVAL and a better understanding of my group. For example, Lexi is the leader of the group and Camille is the worker bee meaning that she is the one to go to for the information about the presentation. There were many high points in the group such as when we completed are power point early and when we researched the information. I had a blast working with them. A low point was when the video couldn’t load and we had to start from scratch again.…

My junior year of high school was the busiest year of my education, especially when I joined school programs like the mock trial. It all happened during a beautiful evening at Rancho Cucamonga Supreme Court, where I had to present my first mock trail case in front of the judge. My colleagues Mariana, Greg, and Rosa were in my team for that evening representing the suspect in the case. Our client was facing three counts for possession of drugs. My goal for that evening was to drop the two major counts that affected my client if he was found guilty.…

Throughout the year, as a class we have been given many different challenges in either the form of an essay, speech, or group presentation. The final assignment given to us was a group project presentation. From growing up in an age filled with technology, I have come to love projects that revolve around making some form of a PowerPoint presentation. This PowerPoint though, was both difficult and interesting for the reasons of being assigned group members not of my own choosing, learning to listen to others ideas which can help me to learn something new, and using former knowledge while working together to create a clean, in depth, and well prepared presentation. With working in groups of students whom I have known since I was young but…

I personally do not enjoy partaking in group-based assignments based on my own personal negative experiences, although, I do acknowledge the benefits group work can bring. It was highly noticeable to me, that working remotely can be difficult for some students to manage given the lack of existing relationship between members. I, as a team player, was a highly active contributor throughout the creative synthesis projects, who understood my effort would determine not only my own academic outcome but also the outcome of my peers. Although, not all who are trusted with the grades of their peers, take such a responsibility so seriously. Each team member brings different experiences and expectations to the table and therefore, navigating these assessments can be somewhat treacherous if team members are not on the same page.…
