Hey Facebook friends,

I am excited to let you know that I have the opportunity to return to Greece this year. I will be going with a team of 5 to Lesbos, Greece. Our work will be similar to last year. We are providing humanitarian aid and crisis relief to Persian speaking refugees. I will be on the island for 2 weeks with my team of 5 from Hinson and Kim Garrity our long term worker from Germany.
The refugee crisis is complicated and multilayered. It’s not simply a matter of good guys and bad guys between the refugees and the state. Nearly 500 refugees continue to enter the country of Greece every day. The Greek refugee application process is overwhelmed. Greece’s already struggling citizens have difficulty providing aid.
