When it comes to legalizing marijuana federally and nationally, I believe that is our best option. The benefits of marijuana continue to grow at a steady pace, it is hard to ignore the progress. One of the most profound benefits is within the medical field. My sister has Fibromyalgia, unrelenting pain that radiates throughout the body, and since she has started using medical marijuana she has seen a large difference. The pain she usually has all day has decreased and it gives her the energy she normally lost. I have also seen THC oils used on individuals having seizures and the incident slows within seconds. I have also seen help individuals who struggle with autism. By legalizing marijuana, it could also give a boost to our economy. If marijuana was taxed in a similar fashion to tobacco and alcohol, we would see improvement. Aside from that, in our country we have an issue with overcrowding in our jails. There is a large amount of people who are incarcerated due to petty offenses.
