Every day, millions of people go out and drive. Whether it’s going to the store, to work, school, or a long trip on the high way, you can predict about fifty percent of people are on their phones texting or calling someone back. As you’re learning to drive the number one rule is to keep your eyes on the road. As you become more comfortable in the driver’s seat you become more reckless and unless someone points out the fact that you are texting and drive, most of the time it is just a habit and you do not notice it. Even though while you are texting and driving you have no intentions on hurting anyone, it happens to be one of the most dangerous bad habits that kills people day upon day. Texting and driving is selfish even to begin with because you’re not only putting your life in danger but everyone else’s life also. Today teens and adults are so obsessed with their phones and the new technology that they can not even put them down for two seconds while driving from point A to point B. Teens are already immature and irresponsible enough, this is just giving them another excuse to have a distraction will driving. If an accident is not caused, about once every day you can see someone swerving on and off the road because they are trying to text someone back. In the world, we already have enough diseases killing people, why on earth would we want another thing that could be prevented to cause deaths.
