How To Write A Personal Reflective Essay

The writing process was different and interesting for me. When you assigned this essay I automatically knew that I wanted to write about music censorship. The introductory paragraph surprisingly was very easy for me to write which is never the case because I’ve always had trouble with creating a thesis statement and attention getter. Once I started writing the body paragraphs that’s where I experienced more trouble because I’ve gotten used to just writing whatever is on my mind not outlining my thoughts. Before starting college I had taken two years of AP english and even AP history where we were timed for each essay. This was definitely very different for me compared to having to write three essays in two hours. I really liked that you introduced us to some articles that related to our essay instead of just giving us an essay and having to figure out what kinds of articles to use. Plus reading those articles helped us pick what topic we wanted to write about. Peer reviews are amazing they do help a lot even if they don’t give you as much feedback as you wish they did. Just looking at someone’s paper I can see things that can help mine like including higher vocabulary or working on grammar..Your feedback really did help and it led me in the right direction of where I might have those same issues. I would love if you could read the whole essay but I know you have more classes and reading just one paragraph is enough. Also I’m really glad that you went over MLA and just didn’t expect us to figure it out on our own. I still do think we should go over a little more that way we know exactly what we are doing. Overall, I think my grade should be a B- because I feel like I met most of the essay’s criteria but I know I have many issues like grammar and punctuation, staying on topic, and getting
