There was one main road leading in and out of town and the rest of them were dirt. One of the perks of living in such a small town was that you got to know everyone in your class and become a family, with all the good and bad that comes with that. We decided to go paintballing on the weekends for team bonding to try become closer. With all the team-bonding that we did we thought that we would be well off going into the season. We started off our season against Onamia at home in front of our own crowd. The day was September 22nd, 2015, it was a cold afternoon, but the sun was still shining through. It really felt like football season again. When we got into the game it was clear that we had a lot of chemistry. It really set a tone for the rest of the season, and we knew that we could rely on one another to do the jobs that were meant to be done. We never had to worry about a job that was another person's, we only had to worry about her own job and that let us on the right path to success. We ended up winning that game 54 - 0. It was a great confidence builder going into a really long season, but that didn't mean we didn't have her fair share of problems too. Those problems came on the second

Cameron’s Life: Episode VI a New Hope. In life there are many definite ends like finishing a bowl of pasta, finishing a 4-5 page paper your professor gives to you to finish in two days (I know, what the heck), or leaving a soccer club. At these ends, there are beginnings, eating more food because that 's all I do, starting another paper (Please don 't), and going to a new soccer club. During the intervals between a definite start, and definite ending, there are many small beginnings and endings that we tend to coast over when we think about them.…

How am I to show this coach that I’m worth starting with such little time? I transferred to Apex Friendship second semester, my sophomore year right before the start of the lacrosse season. Every player had months of pre-season workouts to show the coach their skills while I had only two weeks to prove I was better than the players he had already been watching for months. I put in as much work that was possible by running fast, playing hard and smart. I needed this coach to see that I had the IQ as well as the ability to play at a higher level than the other guys.…

The day of December 7, 2015, just 4 days after the Montgomery Bell Academy football team lost a close overtime game to a local rival, Brentwood Academy, in the state championship, the MBA bowling team had an opportunity to clinch a state tournament bowling appearance for the first time since 2011. Four starting seniors, a sophomore, and I led the team to a twelve and three record. While on the way to that impressive mark, the team defeated the two time reigning TSSAA state championship team, Friendship Christian Academy, led by their ace bowler and two time individual TSSAA state champion, Donnie Turner. I saw the dark clouds in the sky, but I didn’t expect the rain to come, because it was hot and muggy. This is because it was June of 2017. When the game started we (my team and Fenton’s team) sang the “ Star Spangled Banner” on the 1st and 3rd base line.…

Looking back on these days they were tough. Every night before practice was over we ran killers and I also had to review plays for my new position as running back. To put this game in my eyes this was huge if you were to ask another player they would have said differently. If we were to win this game this would help us forget our last season with a losing record of 1-7 and I think this helped motivate me for this game. This has been rolling over and over in my mind for the past couple days and I half to admit I was pretty pumped and ready…
