How To Write A Narrative Essay About Fishing

It was so hot today, I could practically hear death call my name (personification). I was, standing over the first fish that I caught, thinking to myself, “fishing is funner than I thought”. I didn’t get the fish back to the water fast enough, so I stood there as the fish lay limp, and it smelled like that wormy smell that you smell after it rains (appeal to smell). I started crying and put it down and ran to my mom. I took one last look at Beaver Dam lake and it was as peaceful as a mirror (metaphor). …show more content…
I immediately looked at my bobber and it wasn’t floating, so I gave my pole a tug just to make sure it was still there, and sure enough, the bobber came up for a few seconds, and immediately went down. My little sister ran and got the fishing net because she knew I was going to need it obviously. When I got the fish close enough for my little sister to put the net under the catfish, the line broke and the fish landed in the net, not in the water, thank god. I think that fishing changed me because I now love being outdoors instead of being inside most of the time playing video
