One day in Fall, I looked out my window across the street and remember all the good times I had in the house across the street, before someone else came along. This is the story of when my Best Friend moved away. I went to my friend's house across the street from my house. My best friend Sam told me to come inside because she needed to talk to me. She said that she was moving. I said are you really moving? and Sam said that she might be moving and I got really sad. The next day I went over to her house and there was a paper that said they were moving. I was so sad that I went home crying because I didn’t want her and her family to leave. One day later I talked to Sam and I was about to cry, but I held it back, I didn’t want my best friend to see me cry. …show more content…
My mom said that when I wasn't with them, they were crying, they didn't want to go either, we grew up in the neighborhood together and we knew each other since we were 2 years old. I told Sam that I was taking her and her sister Alyssa with me to my house to live with me! They said no they needed to stay with their family and that we could see each other whenever we wanted. Sam made a promise to me that I would be the first person to have a sleepover at her house and the first one to see what the house looked like. I was so happy when she said that. Then I said Sam I will help you guys pack and move as long as I can be the first person to see the house. Sam said you know you will be the first person to see it! As the time went by the house was up for sale and whenever someone was going to go see the house me and Sam would go in my front yard and sit in the grass and look at the house to see who was going to buy the house, but we weren't the only ones doing it my other neighbor was sitting outside looking across the street to see who was going to live

It was a bright sunny Saturday morning, waking up hearing the birds chirping outside. The sun was shining through the windows throughout the house. It rang three times before my mom answered.…

And every time he closed his eyes, they were kids again. It had been a constant reminder of the days when they were innocent, wide-eyed and childlike, an age in which they would look at the world with curious stares and bright smiles, a time he had missed dearly despite not wanting to remember. His once high spirits had been crushed, leaving behind chaotic remains of distant memories and good times which his mind couldn't help but visualize every time he would merely blink; and his wandering thoughts would always, without fail, would drift away and ponder what would life would be like had they not grown up, if they hadn't lingered a bit too far away from each other and lost one another forever, if things were simple, like how their childhoods were; he could only wonder.…

Walt Disney once said, “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious, and curiosity leads us down new paths.” It’s possible he was never forced to try new things, maybe he never had to move forward without giving any real consent, but it could be that he was never required to become curious and gain new insight on something that he was not curious about. That’s why, I propose to you, Mom and Dad, to move us back to our old city. Comfort is one of the key reasons why we should go back. Being in an environment where you can get a sense of comfort is a major factor in how we perceive ourselves and others.…
