How To Write A Letter To A Parks Library

Improved Essays
I have chosen a place where its located inside Parks Library due to its valuable position in my heart. When I saw that I had to write a letter describing a place which I like in campus, a hall in Parks Library instantly came into my mind. Basically, this place reminds of everything I like in terms of architecture, its quite zone, and fancy murals.

I have shared a glimpse of my memory to my friend through writing a letter directly speaking to her in words. Reminiscing the old days where she and I loved talking about architecture and interior design by deeply describing the hall’s surroundings and atmosphere. Also, how the murals reflect my passion and I see myself in each corner of that place. The source of where I get motivated everyday just when I visit it is outstanding. Since I am a genetic major, Parks Library is exactly where I want to be at everyday. I think my letter is delivered in an ocean of rhetorical

Making an outline prior launching my letter was helpful and it located me in what I want to talk about. Discussing the map creation and revising my paper with the instructor had a good outcome towards my grade. This approach went well for the first major assignment due to the instructor’s feedback. However, I need to be more straightforward and direct when it comes to writing the second essay paper.

This assignment was fun as a start and I think by writing the letter, I have achieved how to think creatively and share my words though my writing. Also, it made realize what are my weaknesses and strengths in general. I have accomplished to seize my writing to an oriented-group of people, audience, and developed some strategies upon organizational contexts. For instance, I needed to create new paragraphs for my letter to match the topic sentences for a better writing. Ultimately, I have grasped a lot through my first task but the best is yet to

Last October I participated in the Dartmouth Native Fly-In Program and while I was visiting I made a trip to the third floor of the Dartmouth library. I remember this experience quite well because out of all the wonderful memories I made on that trip, this was the one experience that had the greatest impact on me. I remember walking into the library where old, frail books lined the walls with dark, mahogany bookcases stretching high. There were antique lamps on the desks that let off just enough light for one person to study under and floors that creaked loud enough to draw attention to my friends and I. We finally reached the center of the library where I saw a bronze Native American sculpture that I recognized from a museum I have visited many times here in Oklahoma.…

Initial Reflection In my draft I feel as if I was most successful in explaining how the constituents of the rhetorical situation influenced my writing. In my second writing sample, I mentioned how each of the constituents, most importantly the exigence, shaped the way I wrote the email. I made sure to explain why I chose to write the way I did, and why I chose to include the links and phrases that I used to convince my father to let me join a sorority. Even though I think I went into detail on how the constituents influences my writing, I don 't feel like my first writing sample was explained well.…

I have always considered my relationship with writing to be very insignificant. Although I enjoy spending time verbally expressing my thoughts and feelings to others, it becomes difficult when these thoughts and feelings are expressed through writing. Throughout my adolescent years, I would often receive feedback for my writing given by the teacher in the form of a grade. Being unable to effectively organize my thoughts and ideas into words and sentences, I would feel reluctant to continue writing confidently whenever I received an undesirable grade.…

People, especially students, live in a fast paced life where everything needs to be done accurately before its due date. As a student, sometimes I feel a lot of pressure because I have too many things to do in a very short time. However, whenever I feel that this pressure is getting me, I go to my favorite place on campus; the place where I can think clearly and prioritize what I am willing to do. Although it can seem like a big, static, tall building from the outside, Parks library is always like a beehive from inside. Personally, I like to sit at the window of the north side of Parks library because it is quiet and it inspires me.…

When it comes to writing, I should begin by saying that it is not my favorite subject. I am more of a math or science person, give me equations or graphs any day over papers and essays. Now although I feel this way, I would like to think of myself as a decent writer. I have always done well in my English classes and on my papers and essays for those classes, but doing something well and enjoying it while you are doing it is two different things. I would not say that I hate English and writing- that is too strong of a word- I would just say that it is not what I would prefer to do.…
