How To Write A Formal Written Warning Letter

Re: Rene Spierings – Formal Written Warning

Attached is a draft written warning letter to Rene regarding his:

Attitude and conduct towards others,
Delivery of Technical Paperwork (Job Card’s) to Expected Standards.

This letter came about after the follow-up meeting with Rene explaining that Kerrie had made allegations of bullying and intimidation against him. Since those meetings he has also failed to deliver on improving his job cards, hence partly causing the argument with Kerrie in the first place.

The two main points mentioned above are supported by documentation from previous meetings held on the dates listed in my letter.

Could you check the draft for me, I think it reads ok, but I will wait for you to give me some feedback before

As a member of the Executive team, I feel it is necessary to inform you of the issues I have recently become aware of regarding the Roanoke branch. In the past several months, we have had an Art Director and an Account Executive resign from the company, along with a threat of three Graphic Designers and four Copywriters following suit. As I understand, the morale of the Roanoke employees has significantly decreased recently due to having to work overtime with little, or no notice, and without any compensation. In addition, there are also reports of management rejecting or reworking creative efforts of the Roanoke staff without feedback or consultation, which has contributed to the decrease in morale of the employees. Consequently, these issues…

Do you support mentally ill students? Erika Price, a professional academic, argues that people who don’t support trigger warnings are the ones who don’t support disabled and mentally ill students. While the University of Chicago has officially released letters to their incoming freshman declaring that they are against the use of trigger warnings, Price pointed out the importance of trigger warnings in her article, “Hey, University of Chicago: I am an academic. I am a survivor. I use trigger warnings in my classes.…

A Cautionary word about Cautions Imagine strolling out the door of a safe, comfortable home only to see a wooden sign staked in the front yard. “WARNING: POTENTIAL DANGER AND UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATIONS AHEAD,” it reads. Similar to this situation, trigger warnings are warnings that are blatantly placed on pieces of literature considered to be trivial or upsetting to students. Though the purpose of these warnings is meant to aid traumatized students, their effects are overwhelmingly negative. Overall, the outcomes of these trigger warnings are detrimental to students’ education and hinder them in their adult lives.…

Review essay: The articles compared within this essay are John Hatcher’s ‘The Aftermath of the Black Death in England’ alongside James Westfall Thompson’s ‘The Aftermath of the Black Death and the Aftermath of the Great war’. Both articles discuss the economic impact of the Black Death, Hatcher’s focus is on England and the misconceptions of stability in England. With his main argument concerning whether the aftermath of the Black Death was truly a state of crisis and the inevitability of this disease. Whilst Thompson explores how the people throughout Europe were impacted and how the continent dealt with the crisis, with his argument taking a alternative approach focusing more on how the structure of societies began to transform and reshape themselves during this era, providing a broader perspective.…
