I observed Mrs.Sal at Hodges Elementary, located in Balch Springs. Throughout the week I spent a total of 4 hours and 20 mins.The class consisted 17 students ranging from the ages of 10-12,the class consisted of one female teacher.

Mrs. Sal’s has 17 students which involves 7 boys and 10 girls which adds up to 17 students in total.Overall the ratio to boys and girls is 7:10 which comes to show that the class is dominated by more females. Mrs.Sals also informed me that their is only one male GT student in the class she also added that she has no SPED students. The one male GT student in Mrs.Sal’s class does not receive study off campus. Hodges Elementary only provides GT students with study off campus until 5th and 6th grade. Which the (Texas Education Code §25.112) adds that any class over 4th grade that exceeds 22 students must approve for a request. However we don’t encounter this dilemma with Mrs.Sal's class. My findings during this week we're focusing on students participation in science fair projects. Which allows them to be mentally prepared for different careers in STEM. Which is highly need of future innovators and talented students as the ones I work with in Mrs.Sal. This week I also had the opportunity to work with my students and get excited about math. They worked on multiplication facts and practiced by pacing themselves. Technology was allowed during these activities in order to provide the students with something fun and different. As students were allowed to set up their science experiments I further helped them get the right supplies and tools to be success in their experient. Students were also asked to focus on
