This young man born into a wealthy Roman family in the B.C period became one of the greatest rulers who ever lived. Through his entire life, his days were full of adventure, wealth and women. Julius Caesar was born in Rome July 13, 100 B.C. He was born to a royal, wealthy family. His father was Gaius Caesar and his mother was Aurelia Caesar. He attended a private school for only the wealthiest children in all of Italy. In 68 B.C. Caesars very close aunt died a tragic death. This would affect his life forever (“Caesar, Julius”). As a young adult, Caesar went to a wealthy academy in the heart of Rome. Only the richest people in Italy could attend this particular academy. He was a married man by the age of 17. When Caesar was 16 his beloved father died. This would also change his life forever (“Julius Caesar 1”).
When Caesar graduated from the prestigious academy, he took all responsibilities of his late father. He was named one of the Senators of Rome. Caesars wife was the daughter of the dictator of Rome at the time. He forced Caesar to divorce his wife. Caesar refused to go along with the divorce and to stay in the country, he had to join the military serving in Asia and then in Cilia. After the dictator died, Caesar went back to Rome and applied for a job as a part of the Roman Congress. From there he worked his way up the Royal court until one day he reached his goal. As the leader of Rome, he was cruel and very unmerciful. His fathers and aunts deaths had a lot to do with his pure hatred toward others. He would put innocent people to death for the littlest things. In his early rule, Caesar growing in popularity. He made a partnership with Pompey that would last for years to come. Caesar was named the richest man in Rome by Crassus,the strong enemy of
