How To Write A Breaching Essay

For the breaching experiment, I chose to do something fun that involved more than just me participating! My husband and I decided to go to the Dixie Stampede, a wonderful place where you can have dinner and a show. There is a catch, however, when you have your giant, delicious, four-course feast, you cannot use silverware. When I heard this I just had to try it out. Normally in while eating in public, it is considered rude to eat with your hands, but not at the Dixie Stampede. The night we decided to go was packed, and they had sold out of tickets. We sat on long benches that surrounded an arena, and I was seated next to an older couple. The first course of creamy vegetable soup, and a warm cheddar biscuit was served. Next came desert; a big, warm, flaky apple-turnover that seemed to get all over my hands, since there was no fork. My husband and I had a blast! It was so much fun to do something so simple that went against what society says is acceptable. I noticed the older lady beside me never did take a bite of anything without watching to see if Michael or I had taken a bite first. It is funny to think that even in a place where they want you to go against a social norm; people will still hesitate to partake in it. It definitely makes you feel awkward and out of place, until you realize you have no choice. If you want to eat that delicious meal in front of you, you are going to have to use your hands. Then you realize that everyone around you is doing the same thing. I will admit I did not start eating until I made sure Michael was going to eat too. It got to a point where we both looked at each other, laughed, and then starting tearing off chicken legs! When I looked around though, I could usually point out that the women were the ones that waited to watch for someone else to eat first, which was normally a
