In this book Irene has to get a package to the duchess’ palace in a mild storm. During the journey Irene is brave, determined, and caring. Irene is brave because even with a twisted ankle, she still walked on, even though she was in great pain. Even in the storm with snow up to her ankles, Irene fought through the storm and delivered the gown. Irene is determined because even with a twisted ankle she still went on. Another example is even when the wind was howling she still walked on and didn’t stop. Throughout her journey, she never stopped and finally delivered the package. Irene is caring because she coaxed
