If you're anything like me and a whole host of people across the United States, then you're holding onto your car longer before purchasing a new vehicle. Sometimes the best way to feel good about your old car is to make it feel like a new car. You can accomplish this through a few simple procedures such as getting your car detailed, waxing your car, or getting your car repainted.

A simple first step to make your old car look new is to wax it. All you need to wax your car is a can of wax, a wax applicator, a cloth towel, and a lot of elbow grease. You simply start by applying the wax with the applicator and small circular motions across the entire body of the car. The next up is my favorite: Walk away. That's right; at this point all you have to do is walk away from your car and let it dry. You'll be able to tell a visually when your car is ready to be toweled off because the wax will have dried to a cloudy white color. At this point all you do it towel the wax off of the car making sure to remove all trace residue. This will leave your car with a new look in the luster.
