I am writing on behalf of my constituent, Eleonora Ferrari. Eleonora’s fiancé, Carlos Jose De Los Santos Soriano, is applying for a Temporary Residence Visa to visit Canada. Carlos applied for a Temporary Residence Visa in 2015 and was refused.

I have been informed that Carlos wishes to visit Canada for three weeks in June or July. As Eleonora has visited Carlos several times and has met all of his family and friends, Carlos wishes to use the visit as an opportunity to meet Eleonora’s family and friends. Eleonora has advised that she has visited Carlos 11 times since the couple met in 2013, and she last saw Carlos in April 2016 on her most recent visit to the Dominican Republic.

I have been advised that Carlos has no intention or interest
