you have enough ice to allow the polar bears to hunt seals you will have a healthy population of reproducing polar bears. unfortunately this equation isn't adding up anymore, your temperatures from global warming are causing dramatic declines in the sea ice across the Arctic. this means less and less time for polar bears to hunt The seals and as a result polar bears are suffering. we are able to see everything that has been predicted 20 years ago has come to occur. in the summer the ice melts so Bears are forced onto land, The 1970s the polar bears were off the ice for 120 days, 2010 the polar bears were off the ice for 160 days (NWF Widlife). polar bears have to go for an additional 40 days without food. situation is becoming very critical very quickly. so the bottom line is: no ice + no seals= no bears. what is happening now to the polar bears are just a foreshadow of what might happen to the entire globe, it's going to affect us all. weather speaking to an individual of government, large industries, the message is the same to each we need to reduce our output of carbon. need to do something now to minimize the Mobile warming affect and to make the formula work
