Mexico is a triangle-shaped valley between these two countries (Bulletin 8). Mexico is bordered by several different countries and terrains, as shown in figure 2. As reported in HSTC Mexico is “bordered on the west by the Sierra Nevada mountain range, which separates the valley from Mexico state, and to the east by Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl mountains and Telapon and Tláloc hills” (Bulletin 8).
