Every second one and a half acres of rainforest is cut down. It is estimated that within 100 years there will be no more rainforests. It is very clear that that we as human beings have a big dilemma on our hands , and we need to do everything in our power to stop the destruction of rainforests and wildlife habitats. Without forests and wildlife the extinction of the human race could be a lot closer than we all think. This advertisement does a great job illustrating how close we really are to the edge, and that it didn't just happen over night, and it is slowly been progressing since the beginning of our history. This image is very credible because it comes from a Major corporation called “The Nature Conservancy“ which is dedicated to protecting the rainforest. This image uses logos very strongly. In this advertisement the right decision is to help put an end to the destruction of the rainforests, although it may not not have that many words the image definitely speaks for itself there is defiantly chaos towards the back of that picture and it's pretty obvious that something needs to be done before it's too late. I Think this image does a great job making people realize that there is definitely something they can do to help and that doing something about this problem is the clear and obvious choice. Logos Pathos and ethos aren't the only rhetorical pieces this image uses.
To make this advertisement the author had to make many connections, whether that was trying to figure out a target audience or what the image should even be, and lastly he had to try to connect to the audience. In my opinion I don't think there was a specific target audience, I think it was for everyone and anyone, because it is not a small group problem this is a human race problem. I think the author of this ad really want to get across to his audience that this is a big deal, and the target audience this case is anybody who is willing to
